Dear Clients,

Due to hackers, we are in the process of moving our sites (web-design-shop.com and sdoenterprises.com) and client sites to another platform. Please be patient. Please note:

All client web sites will be transitioned to another platform due to this issue. We will coordinate this with your in-house technical support team to ensure a smooth transition and limit downtime. If you have questions or concerns please call the office line. Our backend hosting supplier (HostDepartment.com) has been very unreliable this year for a variety of reason, this being the most recent. We cannot in good faith continue that relationship.

How will this impact your site:

  1. We will need to move your site and repoint the DNS settings of your domain registrar.
  2. If you have a mail exchange server we will need to have those settings (MX) to input into the new hosting platform
  3. If you upload files using FTP we will need to modify that process
  4. FTP is not supported on our other platform for security reasons, therefore the Siteman.asp admin method must be used. (this is under review and may change)
  5. Hosting fees will not change
  6. If you want to create your own hosting account with another provider you can provided that it is a Windows hosting account with MS Access or SQL Server support (depending on how your site is setup). We will move your site free of charge (you will be responsible for the hosting fees in this case, but we'll do the labor of moving your site for free). I would highly recommend 1and1.com if you feel you need to make that type of move.

I know this is annoying to say the least, and I am aware of that and am working as fast as I can to resolve the issues. I will be calling all clients personally to answer any questions you may have.
